I have been teaching yoga in the Bay Area - classes, workshops, and private instruction - since 2004.
In 1972 I was introduced to yoga through the teachings of Swami Vishnudevananda and began to study mysticism and spiritual wisdom.
I am currently teaching yoga asana classes at private homes in Antioch and the East Bay Area, The Veterans Hospital in Martinez, and the Irvin Deutscher YMCA in Pleasant Hill
I also offers private yoga instruction and spiritual guidance. If you have questions or would like a private consultation call me at 925.238.3032 or email me: nadananda@antiochyoga.com
My initiation into Kriya Yoga came from Swami Dinndayal Morgan. He taught me the power of embodiment, gave me mantra, revealed my spiritual name (Nadananda), and opened the gateway to my path of liberation.
Om Gan Ganapataye Namah!

Dinndayal is a disciple of Swami Goswami Kriyananda who is a disciple of Sri Shellyji Trimmer. Shellyji was a student of Paramahansa Yogananda, who brought Kriya Yoga to the United States. Yogananda’s guru was Swamiji Sri Yukteswar Giri, a disciple of Yogiraj Lahiri Mahasaya. Lahiri’s guru was the mythic Mahavatar Babaji.
The hatha yoga and tantric practices of Integral Kriya Yoga are drawn primarily from the teachings of Swami Vishnudevananda, Swami Satchidananda, and Paramahansa Satyananda Saraswati (Satyananda took Mahasamadhi on December 5, 2009) - disciples of Swami Sivananda Saraswati of Rishikesh.
[March 28, 2009 I received a practice name (Yogakriya) from Dharmanidhi Sarasvati, a disciple of Satyananda.]
